Yumsel was born in Sakarya in 1996. His interest in art began in his childhood and this interest led him to painting. After a while, his interest in painting was included in his education life. After completing the ceramics and glass design department of Kocaeli fine arts and sports high school painting department - Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Fine Arts - he created his own brand under the name of YUMSEL ceramic workshop in Istanbul in 2020. Thus, art became both a career and a lifestyle for him.

Yumsel Seramik, bearing the surname 'Yumsel'; It is an entrepreneurial workshop that designs, produces and provides training for innovative, modern, decorative ceramic products.

After graduating from the department of ceramics and glass design, we wanted to reveal our experiences and break the stereotypes and conventions in ceramics, under the name of Yumsel ceramics. We add our own interpretation to works that require many skills, such as ceramic products and designer ceramic kitchenware, and also take into account the demands from customers and produce devoted works in our workshop.

The design process of the ceramic products we make: We implement shaping, moulding, product casting, firing and glazing completely with our own vision.
We believe that every project in the world is the result of an idea and every idea has a reason. Therefore, each of our designs serves an idea. Our strength in design is reflected in our name and the attention we pay to details.

We don't want everything to be perfect, but we need them to be perfectly taken care of. That's why we're willing to contribute at best.
